Jennifer Turner:

CEO/President
Jennifer's background, prior to opening her studio, was in non profit management, specifically with a professional membership association (EMDR International Association - www.emdria.org ). EMDRIA had 3000+ members when Jennifer left and produced a conference of 750-1000 attendees. She loved her career, but her love of photography and working with children was stronger, and she left to pursue her dreams of opening a portrait studio designed specifically for children and infants. When she saw the need for a professional association dedicated to educating children & family photographers, it seemed natural to combine her knowledge of the industry along with her background in association management.

CFPA Board of Advisors

Kirk Kief:

Senior Advisor

Kirk has been involved in photography, one way or another, from the mid 1950s when his Mother became a staff photographer for their local newspaper. Kirk was actually loading rolls of film on the old reels at the ripe age of 9 yrs. old. To date, he has been operating a store front studio in Palatka, Fl. for over 18 yrs. This year, he is moving his studio into a new town, 35 miles to the north, and starting everything all over again.
Kirk is the Founder of the Children and Family Photographers Discussion Forum. He formed this when CPW (Children Photographers of the World) closed their doors. There was such a strong, and special bond among the members of CPW, and Kirk didn't want to see that disappear. This forum has grown from the original 25 members, to over 350 members today. Kirk serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Professional
Photographers, Inc.(F.P.P.). He also served on the Board of the Prof. Photog. of North Central Florida (P.P.N.C.F.) since 1989 including two terms as President. He was named Photographer of the Year for PPNCF for 2001, 2003, and 2004. He also was elected as a Councilor to P.P.A. for Florida.  Kirk holds the Craftsman Degree with PPA. Also, the FSA and FED degrees with FPP.
